The site preparation is the first major step in any construction project.  It is done before any other construction commences. The quality of the site preparation influences the rest of the activities and its importance must not be underestimated. Whether you’re the project manager for your self build in Inishowen or carrying out the work yourself, Eugene and team will liaise closely with you, your architect and your engineer.

The following will be typically be discussed at your site consultation, depending on your requirements:

Before footings

• Scrub and soil clearance
• Land drainage
• Mark out and dig of foundations
• Preparation of foundations i.e. mud mat (if required) and steel mesh
• Concrete pour of foundations

After footings

• Waste pipes
• Radon box and barrier
• Subfloor fill and concrete

All materials ordering and delivery can be co-ordinated by Eugene and team. Likewise, the team will keep your architect/engineer informed of key progress for approval.
